The 10th year of International exhibition "Horse in Action" took part on the 5th -7th September 2008 on Pardubice racecourse. The main theme of the exhibition were different harnesses - "The Great Carriage".

Akhalteke breed should be originally represented by Stambul and Algrassa owner Ms. Turinkova, but they couldn´t come at all, then it was in negotiating the purebred stallion Djasman owner Martin Hofman but he unfortunatelly didn´t come as well. At the end was Akhalteke breed represented by two stallions - one was Damask (Aksum-Davenda, owner Mrs. Skopalova, farm Dorkeik, Slapy), and 19 years old stallion Germes (Munir-Granka, owner Ms. Maresova, Tukleky).
ATA CZ had traditionally an exhibition tent and the show arena from last years exhibition "In those days in East" where the people could see the raptor of Mr. Straka or taste the teas from Good Tearoom and see the exhibition of the Orient dancers Samirah. Operating in the ATA tent was arranged ourselves from Tukleky and Slapy´s teams because no one from the members of ATA CZ could come and help with the exhibition. So we thanks a lot Mrs. Jirina Simandlova, Jana and Julie Kraupnerova, Petra Lukesova and Mr. Marek Zeman for their help.

Akhaltekes were shown in the breeding exhibition in paddock and in riding show named "Caravan of Gifts" where were shown the stallions Germes and Damask together on Friday. More about the show and about whole exhibiton in Pardubice you can see on website Equichannel.

On Sathurday Germes and Damask were shown in show "Caravan of Gifts" and in the afternoon took place the 2nd year horserace of Eastern breeds. There were only 3 horses at the start - purebred Arabian mare Ubaha (owner Jana Hajkova) with rider Jaroslav Lacina, purebred Akhalteke stallion Damask (owner Zdenka Skopalova) with rider Jirina Simandlova and purebred Akhalteke stallion Germes (owner Petra Maresova) with rider Katerina Hajkova. The winner was the stallion Germes, second place took stallion Damask and third place took purebred Arabian mare Ubaha. Prizes for the race were given by Pardubice racecourse a. s., Barterova spolecnost s.r.o., ATA CZ and Mrs. Skopalova.

On Sunday were Akhaltekes shown in the show "Caravan of Gifts" again.

Whole of the organizing team of racecourse Pardubice worked hard and excellent and easy controled the strain of 400horses. We want to thanks a lot to Ing. Kunat and Mrs. Magda Hromadkova for excellent background and we look forward to next exhibition in Pardubice
